iTech supports Seamless Eligibility in two products - expEDIum Medical Billing and expEDIum Eligibility Portal.

The real-time and Batch Eligibility Verifications are built-in to the Patient Demographics module of these two products. The users can perform a seamless Eligibility verification where the Inquiries can be initiated from the Patient Demographics and the Eligibility response is reconciled and persisted in the patient database and is available for future reference. In batch mode, several Enquiries can be batched together and sent as a single batch. In real-time mode eligibility verifications can be performed one at a time to obtain a response quickly.

The seamless eligibility differs from the stand-alone eligibility where the inquiries would have to be repeated each time as the eligibility responses are not persisted and reused.
